National CERT takes part in conference „Building Cybersecurity in Bosnia and Herzegovina“

The National CERT took part in a conference held on December 12 through 14 in Sarajevo, attended by more than 60 participants of state administration and entity institutions responsible for cybersecurity issues in Bosnia and Herzegovina, representatives of institutions of Serbia, Montenegro, as well as the academic and private sector for which cybersecurity is a prerequisite for uninterrupted and safe business.

During the conference, simulations of cyberattacks were presented to the participants, and the importance of the functioning of cybersecurity infrastructure, inter-connectivity, cooperation and communication at the regional and international levels was emphasized.

RATEL’s represenative on behalf of the National CERT, Daniela Andrović, took part in a panel discussion titled „Functioning of cybersecurity infrastructure, inter-connectivity, cooperation and communication at regional and international levels“, presenting the National CERT activities, cybersecurity situation in the Republic of Serbia based on published statistical data and reports, as well as training provided to the employees of ICT systems of special importance.
