The Republic of Serbia Network Operators’ Group (RSNOG) gathered at its 8th annual conference held along with the 30th jubilee TELFOR. It was attended by more than 120 national and foreign experts, and also accessible via an online link.
The conference was opened by Dejan Đukić, director of RNIDS Foundation, who highlighted an institutional support provided by the Foundation to the RSNOG community since the very beginning and acknowledged an ever-improving quality level of the conference and a growing number of its participants. In the following, Danko Jevtović, vice president of the ICANN Managing Board, acquainted the attendees with this global organization’s activities which are significant to national Internet providers.
As part of panel discussion „Cyber Security in Serbia” the participants discussed the current situation, challenges and possible development directions in the domain of information security enhancement of the private companies, state administration and end users. The discussion was moderated by Dunja Majstorović from Siemens Energy, with paricipants Sergej Stolić from A1 Srbija, Aleksandar Kostadinović from RNIDS, Daniela Andrović from the National CERT – RATEL, Viktor Varga from Unicom Telecom, Sergej Petković from Nova Defense and Darko Šehović from FIN-CSIRT – Association of Serbian Banks. The National CERT’s statistical data results for 2021 were presented pertaining to all incidents in ICT systems of special importance, including market overview results based on the number of incidents reported to the National CERT over the previous year.
