The first Women4Cyber Forum, hosted by AFA (All For All) association, was held at NALED premises on 8 June, 2022. The forum was themed around the future of cybersecurity. The aim of the event was to gather and connect professionals dealing with the issues of information security and adjacent topics, having in mind that this dynamic area of work is faced with great challenges, such as the lack of personnel.
Head of Cyber Security Division and National CERT affairs, dr Marko Krstić, took part in the panel discussion and explained, on the occasion, the regulatory frame pertaining to the area of information security in the Republic of Serbia and the EU, as well as the standards and good practice applied in the area of cybersecurity. As a mentor within the Women4Cyber program, dr Krstić contributed to the transfer of knowledge in the application of artificial intelligence and machine learning in the area of information security, highlighting the need to encourage the young population, especially women, to take an interest in the cybersecurity activities.
This event was co-organized by Dell Tehnologies, NALED, Cloud Technologies, Google and the Embassy of Israel in Serbia.
The National CERT continues to support activities aiming to advance and improve the area of information security, particularly its technical capacities, and to raise awareness on the significance of cybersecurity.
