At the invitation of the prestigious George C. Marshall European Center for Security Studies (https://www.marshallcenter.org/mcpublicweb/en/), RATEL's representative delivered a cyber security-related lecture entitled ''Public Awareness in Practice’’.
Every four years, this center hosts different trainings in this area of expertise, of which one of the most important is undoubtedly the PCSS Course (Program on Cyber Security Studies), taking place every December in Garmisch-Partenkirchen, Germany.
This year, more than fourty cyber security experts, among other representatvives from the EU, Oxford University, National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), Microsoft, Netherlands Ministry of Defence, Lufthansa, NTT Corporation of Japan, NATO, Cyber Security Africa, Europe and the USA, will hold lectures at the PCSS Course.
This year's event will be attended by 90 participants from 60 countries around the world. The National CERT's lecture is based on its own practice as a part of its regular activities, intended to raise awareness of the public in the field of cyber security.
The exchange of knowledge and experience with other lecturers and participants was of great importance, both in terms of learning about new models of cyber security protection worldwide, but also regarding further development of the National CERT, with enhanced personnel and technical capacities, so as to respond adequately to complex challenges in the field of cyber security in the Republic of Serbia.
