VMware has released security updates to address vulnerabilitie CVE-2023-20858 affecting software solution VMware Carbon Black.

VMware Carbon Black App Control contains an injection vulnerability. VMware has evaluated the severity of this issue to be in the Critical severity range with a maximum CVSSv3 base score of 9.1.

National CERT encourages users to apply all available updates in order to prevent any kind of misuse by the attacker.
